Finally, here is a little update from Naucler Design’s nomination for the Mercedes –Benz YFI Award @ Stockholm Fashion Weekend.

Our goal was to show the fashion industry that latex can be so much more than “___fill in the blanks____” and I think (read: hope) we did!

Thanks to the nomination, we got everything we needed: Models from Mikas (Sweden’s most probably largest model agency), make-up and hair stylists from Max Factor and so forth.

We had a real blast during the nomination and the preparations, making new acquaintances and finished it all with a glass of champagne.

Now it is official, Sophie Nauclér is one of the six finalists at Mercedes-Benz Young Fashion Industry Award!

The award is looking “/…/for something different, something fresh, something new. We congratulate all the finalists for their successes, and salute them for inspiring us to challenge norms, to seek novel methods of expression, and to distinguish ourselves from the crowd, as they themselves have done.“

With over 200 applicants, we are very proud to have give the opportunity to take this big step in to the mainstream fashion limelight with our latex couture! And yes we will shine ;)

The winner will be announced after the 6 finalists have shown their collection on the catwalk.

Time: August 16th at 19.30
